Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using Roaminix Shop’s eSIM services and website. It complements our Terms & Conditions. By purchasing or using our services you agree to comply with this AUP. The goal is simple: keep the service fair, safe and reliable for every traveller.

1. Overview

Roaminix provides prepaid, data-only eSIM plans for international travel. Our services are intended for personal, lawful use to access the internet while travelling. You agree to use the services only in accordance with this AUP, our Terms, and all applicable laws in your home country and in the destination country where you use the service.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Roaminix services, your eSIM or our website to:

Commit or facilitate any unlawful, fraudulent, criminal or abusive act, or violate any applicable law, regulation or ordinance.
Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights of any person or entity.
Send or distribute spam, unsolicited bulk messages, phishing content, malware, viruses or any harmful code.
Harass, threaten, defame, bully or intimidate any person.
Distribute illegal content, including content that is obscene, violent, hateful or that promotes discrimination.
Circumvent, disable or interfere with any technical measure, network restriction, billing system or security feature.
Intercept, monitor, capture or relay any traffic or data that does not belong to you.
Use the service to build or operate any kind of proxy, VPN reselling, hotspot for commercial resale, or to provide connectivity to third parties for a fee.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users’ accounts, or any network or device.
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.

3. Network & Data Usage Rules

Use the data connection only within the coverage area and for the purpose for which the plan was purchased.
Do not use the service in a way that unreasonably degrades network performance for other users, including sustained high-bandwidth activities that violate the fair-usage policy.
Comply with the laws and regulations of the destination country, including any local rules on telecommunications, data usage and content.
Do not use the service to connect to or operate any network equipment in a way that is not authorised by the network operator.

4. Fair Usage Policy

To ensure a good experience for all customers, we apply a fair-usage policy. In particular:

Data speeds may be reduced during periods of high network demand or congestion.
“Unlimited” or high-data plans may be subject to reasonable speed limits after sustained, heavy usage over a short period; normal usage will not be affected.
We may monitor usage to detect abuse, fraud or patterns inconsistent with normal personal travel use.
If usage is found to be abusive or inconsistent with personal use, we may throttle, suspend or terminate the affected service.

5. Account Security & Access

Keep your login credentials confidential and do not share your account or eSIM with anyone.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account or any suspected security breach.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or with your eSIM.
Do not attempt to access or interfere with another user’s account, order or eSIM.

6. Content & Communications

Any content you submit to us (for example, in support requests or reviews) must be accurate, lawful and not offensive. You grant us a licence to use, reproduce and display such content for the purpose of providing and improving our services. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the right to share it.

7. Enforcement & Consequences

We monitor compliance with this AUP and may take appropriate action if you breach it. Depending on the nature and severity of the breach, we may:

Issue a warning and request that you stop the offending behaviour.
Throttle or limit your data service.
Suspend or terminate your access to the service, with or without notice.
Refuse or cancel orders and, where appropriate, withhold or recover amounts.
Report suspected illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

We will use our reasonable discretion and consider the circumstances before taking action. Where a breach causes us loss, we reserve the right to seek remedies, including damages.

8. Legal Compliance

You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to your use of the service, including export-control, sanctions, anti-fraud and telecommunications laws in your home country and in the destination. Nothing in this AUP authorises any activity that is illegal in any jurisdiction.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
