Android eSIM setup is straightforward on supported phones. The exact menu names vary a little by manufacturer, but the flow is the same everywhere.
Check Compatibility
eSIM works on most flagships from 2018 onward — Pixel 3 and up, Samsung Galaxy S20 and up, Google Pixel, and many others. Open Settings and look for Network, Mobile Network, or SIMs. If you see an option to add an eSIM, your phone supports it.
Step-by-Step Installation
1. Open Settings. Go to Connections or Network & Internet.
2. Add a mobile plan. Tap Add mobile plan, Add eSIM, or Download a SIM.
3. Scan the QR code. Point the camera at the QR code from your Roaminix order email.
4. Confirm and activate. Accept the plan, give it a label, and wait a few seconds for it to register on the network.
Keep Your Main Number
On dual-SIM phones, your physical SIM keeps making calls while the eSIM provides data. Set the eSIM as your mobile data line in Mobile networks so it handles internet automatically.
Troubleshooting
If the eSIM does not appear, restart the phone and try scanning again. Make sure the phone is unlocked — a carrier-locked phone may reject a new eSIM profile.
